Mr. Ortega specializes in high-impact public affairs projects and has a successful record
in public policy, media and community relations as well as in writing and editing. With a
background in corporate and government communications and in journalism, he helps individuals
and organizations tell their stories, guard their reputations and succeed in the marketplace.
Mr. Ortega most recently worked in corporate media relations with Time Warner Cable, the nation's
second-largest cable operator. Prior to that, he served as press secretary for former Ohio Secretary
of State Jennifer Brunner, overseeing all media relations for the state office. Before that, Mr. Ortega
was an award-winning newspaper reporter and editor for several years, most recently as the Statehouse
Bureau Chief for Dix Newspapers and The Youngstown Vindicator.
